Max (Massimo Ettore Attilio) Bosotti was born in Torino and migrated to Australia in 1950 as a “displaced person” following the partition of the Isterian part of Italy after WW2 to Yugoslavia (now Croatia).

In those years, immigrants were expected to contribute to the nation building program and integrate in a program of indenture which meant Max’s parents were assigned to a remote country village, Tullibigeal in Western NSW for two years before being allowed to exercise freedom of domicile.

Following his high school education in Australia, Max’s family (now five) moved to Canada, the original choice of Max’s father and after obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering and working in Canada for 6 years, Max moved back to Australia and a diversified career across several industry sectors.

Max Bosotti has been Chief Executive Officer for the Paraplegic and Quadriplegic Association of NSW (ParaQuad) for eight years. Prior commercial experience includes senior operating roles with blue-chip organisations such as Texaco Canada, Caltex, Telstra, as well as ten years in investment banking (Barclays Bank) thereby enabling this diverse experience to benefit the charitable community sector.

A notable achievement was his establishment of the internet business for Telstra in 1995 wherein all internet connectivity with the outside world was through Telstra Internet.

Over the past 8 years, ParaQuad has substantially revamped its commercial arm BrightSky Australia to better support its community services and is a leading provider of specialty health products across Australia.
