The Co.As.It. Italian Family History Group (IFHG) was founded in 2001, and operates under the auspices of Co.As.It (Italian Association of Assistance).

The IFHG is a non-profit genealogical group, consisting mostly of Italian-Australians, who are interested in sharing knowledge and experiences about their family history and Italian culture. We have over 600 people on our database, many of whom are actively engaged in their own family research. The IFHG aims to assist its members by providing informative guest speaker events (approximately six times per year), a resource library for genealogical research material (temporarily in storage due to relocation of the Co.As.It. Library), pooling members’ family history information and research experiences, and liaising with other similar genealogical groups. Please note the IFHG does not currently have the capacity to assist individuals with their own Italian family genealogical research.
